Whether for home or office, this Table Desk, made of white pine, offers durable construction and a clean elegant silhouette that complements traditional interiors.

This Table Desk was originally made in the New Lebanon Shaker Community in the early nineteenth century.

The writing surface is slanted with tongue-and-groove breadboard ends. There is a shallow storage drawer on the lower left end of the case and a unique ink drawer feature, with an ingenious drawer keeper, on the upper right side.

The interior also has a till for holding & storing writing implements.

The Table Desk is enhanced with through or half-blind hand cut dovetails on each corner of the case and drawer, same as the original piece.

The maple drawer knobs were turned in my shop.

The finish is a reddish brown stain with 3 coats of tung oil providing an emulating look to the original.
